Carlos Delgado

Carlos Delgado was 4-for-5 and David Wright knocked in three runs as the Mets took Game 1 of the NLDS over the Dodgers, 6-5, Wednesday at Shea. With Orlando Hernandez done for the entire postseason, rookie John Maine stepped in and allowed one run over 4 1/3 and Billy Wagner closed things out for the win.
