Mitch Levites has been producing and directing the racing programs for Fox Sports Net “Thoroughbred Action” and “Inside Racing” since 1981. He has also directed college basketball, hockey and football for the network as well. Mitch’s articles regarding horse racing are seen regularly here on MSG.com.

Mitch’s twenty-six years of experience around the racetrack has made him draw some keen comparisons between the world of thoroughbred racing and life in general. “The racetrack, like our society, has the same elements all of us experience everyday”, Mitch was poignantly describing one day. “You have winners, and you have losers in the race we call ‘life’, but the common goal of both worlds is never quit- no matter what the results are. I’ve learned that in both places you will always have that next race to try again”. “Oh yeah”, he continued.... “never wear flip-flops around the manure pits- I learned that the hard way”.

Currently, Mitch resides in Syosset, N.Y. with his wife of twenty years, Lori, and his three children.
