The exciting world of streetball has made it to the mainstream.

Catch “Summerball,” an exciting new show on MSG that brings to light the streetball
culture in a way never seen before.

The 90-minute show airs every Monday at 10:00 p.m.

Host of the show and streetball legend, Bobbito Garcia, will follow several streetball leagues throughout the summer including the Entertainers Basketball Classic at Rucker Park, Hoops in the Sun and the Uptown Basketball League.

Each episode will also feature a special segment called “To the Baja” where Garcia will introduce the viewer to current and past players, streetball clothing and it’s own unique lingo as well as the overall culture of streetball. A game of the week from the various leagues will also be featured.

Also in “Summerball” will be a weekly competition to try to make the “Shakin Team,” which showcases players performing ball handling routines to music throughout New York City. The best will make up the “Shakin” team that will perform at MSG during the Knicks season.
